Tanya has lived in the metro Jackson area most of her life, and graduated high school from McCluer Academy. Later, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Belhaven College, and then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College.Tanya came from a real estate family! As a teenager she worked during the summers for her grandfather who was a land developer. Several of her uncles also worked in her grandfather’s business. After the business was sold, they continued in real estate as a realtor and recently real estate appraisers.Prior to beginning her own real estate career in 2014, she was the director of enrollment services for the adult degree program of a local private college for over 10 years with the Institute of Professional Development. Prior to her career in higher education, she was in telecommunications for over 20 years working in customer service, sales and marketing. It was during this time, she also served as an adjunct professor for Belhaven College, teaching marketing and business communications.Tanya specializes in working with buyers and sellers in the Tri-County area in residential sales. She has obtained the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) ; Seller Representative Specialist (SRS℠)and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®)designations in an effort to better serve this important segment of the market. In addition, she was named Best of 2015 and 2018 Real Estate Agent in Mississippi Finalist in the Clarion Ledger Mississippi's Official People's Choice Awards
and Best of 2016 and 2017 Overall Winner Real Estate Agent in Mississippi.
